Quick Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup plain flour

2/3 cup castor sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 cup melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

2 eggs

Milk

Pinch of salt

Method

Preheat oven to 200C. Grease and line the base and sides of an 18cm round cake pan

Sift all dry ingredients together

Place melted butter and eggs in a cup and add enough milk to fill the cup.

Beat lightly and add vanilla essence

Mix in dry ingredients.

Beat well.

Pour into cake pan

Bake for about 30 minutes
